We invite all who would like to hear about the unique mission of ACT 3 in calling leaders and churches to embrace the mission of Christ in a Trinitarian context that seeks the unity of the catholic church to attend one of these forthcoming events. These unusual meetings are open to anyone interested in the health and renewal of the church.

Each ACT 3 breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends by 10:30 a.m. Dr. John Armstrong will make a presentation on missional-ecumenism and answer your questions. Those who want a free signed copy of John’s forthcoming book, Your Church Is Too Small (Zondervan), will be able to request one if they attend a meeting. There is no charge for the meal.

Meetings and locations planned for the Chicago area for the following dates:

April 4          Blueberry Field Restaurant; South Holland, IL
April 25        Holiday Inn; Carol Stream, IL
May 2          Village Bible Church; Sugar Grove, IL
May 9          Holiday Inn; Carol Stream, IL
May 16        Westminster Presbyterian Church; Rockford, IL
May 30        Mt. Greenwood Reformed Church; Chicago, IL

You must register to attend a meeting. You can register and find the address of each location at www.act3online.com or by calling (630) 221-1817 during business hours, Monday–Friday.

There was a meeting originally announced (by post card) for Saturday, March 14, at First Presbyterian Church, in Aurora, Illinois. That meeting was postponed until the May 2 meeting in Sugar Grove, which is quite near to Aurora. Be sure to sign up if you would like to attend any one of these meetings.

An ACT 3 Evening event, with the same topic, will be hosted by Trinity Presbyterian Church in Plano, Texas, on Sunday evening, March 29. If you live in Dallas let us know you would like to attend. We would love to have you come.

Other such meetings will be held in other cities throughout 2009. If you would like to host such an event please let us know that as well.

Any chance you will be coming to Michigan? I’d host you at my church, but we are out in the middle of nowhere.

At least we Okies can make it down to the Dallas event. See you there, D.V.

How do we let you know about the March 30 event? There’s nothing specific to that event on the website. Thanks.
