    Hi John,
I hope you share with the rest of us his strongest arguments.
I will say I for one more resonate with Craig Blomberg “Neither Hierarchicalist nor Egalitarian: Gender Roles in Paul” in TWO VIEWS OF WOMEN IN MINISTRY eds. James Beck and Craig Blomberg.
I find it very problematic when either side tries to claim Paul as an Egalitarian or Hierarchalist. If one wants to say that Paul planted seeds in the egalitarian direction as it fits in todays world, okay. But to simply claim Paul or Jesus or Scripture in purely egalitarian terms is really not doing justice to what we actually find in scripture.

    John,
My church (Irving Bible)recently made some changes in this area and attracted a bit of attention. I will say that I got to hear our first sunday morning guest speaker and she represented herself and the Lord very well.
