My blogs will be back on track by tomorrow, or so I hope. I have been taking care of a number of personal items today and then I am off to San Francisco, one of my favorite cities in the world. I will speak Wednesday night in Fairfield (Solano County) in a Q & A session for a new church plant there. Then I will be in a private meeting at Mt. Hermon for some donors and friends in the home of a board member. (I wish I could invite more but there is no space to do so.)

My major reason for this particular trip is my speaking this coming Sunday at City Church, San Francisco. Home_01
If you do not know this church check out their Web site and if you are in the area try to come. I would love to meet old and new friends on Sunday. Here is how the church presents my seminar for this Sunday:

Your Church is Too Small: A Evangelical Journey to Catholicity

Sunday, February 24 | 10:45 AM

Instructor: John Armstrong

The Christian Church is horribly and scandalously divided. Evangelical leader and author, John Armstrong, has been on a journey from "separated" Christian fellowship to now becoming a minister in the mainline Reformed Church in America. Adult_ed_02
He’ll be sharing his journey and talking about biblical principles that have led him to become a bridge-builder to Christians who are divided from one another. John will talk about what we can all be doing to build unity between the churches in our city.

City Church has three of the finest pastors I know in North America: Fred Harrell, Scot Sherman and Mike Hayes. These men, and their elders, are a team with vision and passion for the gospel. Listen to some of their sermons and you will be grateful to me I promise you. Their audio library is fantastic. If you are ever in the Bay Area visit City Church, now a member church in the Reformed Church in America, the denomination of my credentials and membership.
